About Jayla

Hi! My name is Jayla, and I have over 5 years of childcare experience working with children of all ages. I’ve been babysitting for family members, family friends, and church families since I was 13 years old, giving me experience with everything from playtime and homework help to meal preparation and bedtime routines. In addition to babysitting, I serve as a Sunday school teacher, where I help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. I have also volunteered with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students and am fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), allowing me to communicate with and support children with diverse communication needs. I am CPR certified and believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and encouraged. Families describe me as patient, dependable, attentive, and caring.
