About Aubrey

Hi, I’m Aubrey! I’m from the east coast of Washington state, but I’m living in Rexburg as a junior studying child development at BYU-Idaho. I come from a big family, (I’m the oldest of 10 children,) and from those experiences with my siblings, I found that I enjoy working with kids and playing with them. I recently worked at a daycare with kids specifically ages 1-2 years, and I have also worked as a para educator full time in a special education class (K-2nd grade.) While working with kids, I love their energy and enthusiasm for life and have discovered their love for play! I believe every child has a special spirit and deserves to be seen and loved. My eventual goal after graduation is to be a behavioral interventionist, working with kids with special needs one on one! I love singing, (especially musicals!) hanging out with my friends, going to the temple, hiking, and finding the joy in the simple things (such as the sunset, stars, spring flowers, etc.) I would love to meet and work with your children! 😊
