About Jay Anne

🩷 A Little About Me 🩷 Aloha! My name is Jay A, and I’m 24 years old! I was born and raised here on Oʻahu, and I’m from Waipahu. I’m currently a junior at UH Mānoa, majoring in Human Development & Family Science. I’ve always loved being around kids and have had a passion for working with children for as long as I can remember. I have over a year and a half of professional childcare experience as a preschool teacher’s aide, along with over two years of personal experience working with children. This includes volunteering at a Summer Fun program for a local church in Waipahu, volunteering at an elementary and intermediate school in Waimānalo, and babysitting for family. I’ve had experience with children ranging from infants all the way to preteens. I really enjoy getting to know each child and creating a fun, safe, and comfortable environment where they can be themselves, learn, and have a good time! I would describe myself as kind, patient, caring, reliable, and hardworking. I’m also always willing to learn and take feedback because I believe there’s always room to grow and become better at what I do. My dream is to eventually become an elementary school teacher, so working with children and serving my community is something that genuinely means a lot to me. 💕 I’m currently looking for flexible, part-time nannying or babysitting opportunities to gain more experience while helping put myself through college. I would love the opportunity to support a family and provide dependable, loving care for their little ones! 🩷
