About Ansley

Hi I'm Ansley! I graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2024 with a degree in Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) with an emphasis in Child Life Studies. After graduation I worked as program manager for a nonprofit serving children impacted by parental incarceration where I oversaw the year-round family programming and two week overnight summer camp. I recently got married and moved to Los Angeles and am now looking to return to a more hands-on childcare role! I’ve been gaining childcare experience since high school through babysitting, teaching in an after-school program, volunteering in a pediatric healthcare setting, and serving in my church’s children’s ministry. While my recent work has been in a nonprofit setting with families, my education and years of hands-on experience have given me a strong understanding of children’s developmental needs. I’m extremely organized, caring, and passionate about creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment! In my free time I love to read, cook, and go to Pilates. My availability right now is completely flexible and I am open to working with kids of any age! I have a reliable car and a clean driving record (no tickets or accidents ever) and am completely comfortable with any pets in the home. I’m happy to help out with household tasks (light cooking and cleaning) and would love the opportunity to become a trusted caregiver for your family!
