About Janaya

Hi! My name is Janaya, and I’m a 21-year-old third-year college student with a passion for working with children. I have been caring for kids since I was 15 years old and have experience with children of various ages through babysitting, nannying, and childcare roles. My childcare experience includes working as a camp counselor, serving in my neighborhood church nursery, and providing care for children of close family and friends. Over the years, I have also expanded my experience by caring for children from new families, allowing me to become comfortable adapting to different household routines and parenting styles. I am a dependable, patient, and energetic caregiver who loves keeping children engaged and active. Whether it’s playing outside, building forts, doing arts and crafts, helping with homework, reading stories, cooking simple meals, or coming up with fun activities, I enjoy creating a safe and positive environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. As the middle child of seven siblings, I am very family-oriented and naturally comfortable in busy households. I also love pets and am happy to help in homes with furry family members. I have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, so I can assist with school pick-ups and drop-offs, transportation to activities, errands, or other family needs when needed. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, spending time with family, and caring for my 2-year-old dog, Aurora. I look forward to helping families by providing reliable, attentive, and nurturing care for their children!
