About Claire

With a decade of experience in childcare, I have developed a strong passion for nurturing and educating young minds. My journey began with babysitting, where I not only ensured the safety and well-being of children but also provided assistance with homework, meal preparation, and transportation to various activities. I have also had the opportunity to stay overnight with families and travel with them during vacations, creating memorable experiences for the children I care for. In addition to my babysitting experience, I have taken on a side job this year, providing transportation for multiple families to and from extracurricular activities. My professional background includes two years as an afterschool teacher at a private school, along with five years as an assistant teacher, where I honed my skills in creating engaging and supportive learning environments. Currently, I am transitioning to Georgia Southern University to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education, starting this fall. As I embark on this academic journey, I am seeking a part-time position that will allow me to continue my work with children while furthering my education. I have also lifeguarded for 9 years. I worked at a neighborhood pool for three years and I have worked at a country club as head lifeguard for 6 years.
