About Anna

Hi! My name is Anna B, and I’m a 24-year-old professional with a Master’s degree in Psychology and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting families. I have 9 months of hands-on experience as a Behavioral Technician and am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). I currently work for an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) company, providing one-on-one support to children of all ages, having experience with ages 3–10 in both clinic and in-home settings. I support children with communication, social skills, developmental learning, independence, and everyday life skills. My experience includes potty training, personal hygiene and self-care, feeding, classroom support, transitions, extracurricular activities, and play-based developmental learning. I enjoy creating fun, engaging opportunities for children to learn while helping them become more confident and independent. Building confidence and a good self esteem is especially important to me. I strive to create a safe and encouraging environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, trying new things, celebrating their accomplishments, and developing skills at their own pace. My experience with children extends beyond my professional work. During college, I volunteered at a downtown homeless shelter serving youth and served as a mentor with the Strong Women, Strong Girls program. These experiences allowed me to build meaningful connections with young people while encouraging confidence, personal growth, and positive development. I am currently pursuing further education and certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, with the long-term goal of supporting children, families, and communities through behavioral and developmental services. I’m caring, patient, dependable, and curiously- enthusiastic, and I would love the opportunity to bring my education, experience, and genuine love for working with children into your family’s home.
