Hi! My name is Evah, and I am a bubbly, energetic, and deeply compassionate caregiver who is currently completing my college prerequisite coursework to apply to nursing school, where I am pursuing my dream of becoming a pediatric nurse. Caring for children is not just a job for me—it is my lifelong passion and the foundation of my future healthcare career. My hands-on experience includes serving as the primary babysitter for a 2-year-old child for nearly a year during my freshman year of college, where I managed daily schedules, nap routines, toddler-friendly meal preparation with strict safety and allergy protocols, potty training, and fun, sensory-rich play to encourage speech and motor development. In addition to early childhood care, supporting children with special needs is very personal to me; my sister is autistic, and I have spent my entire life actively involved in her daily routines, sensory management, and emotional support. This personal foundation is complemented by my experience as a high school Teacher’s Aide, where I directly assisted students with diverse learning styles and special needs in a structured classroom environment. I am also the long-time, trusted "go-to" babysitter for my extended family and friends, frequently caring for children of all ages from infants to pre-teens. Parents can rely on me for screen-free engagement—like arts and crafts, outdoor play, storytime, and homework assistance—alongside proactive communication, strict respect for household rules, and an unwavering commitment to child safety, health, and happiness!
