Hi! I hope all is very, very well, My name is Julissa, & I am quite excited to be working with your family! In high school, I was enrolled in the Early Childcare program which taught me so much about little ones & I will forever be grateful for those 4 years I spent in such an amazing, caring & insightful program. After graduating I continued my work with children as I became a camp counselor 2 years in a row for ages 4-15 yrs old & during the months when summer was over I worked one year as an after-school care counselor at an elementary school with ages 4-11 yrs old where i helped with homework, planned & organized multiple stations where the kids could socialize & be creative & set up different games as well up until all the children were picked up. After I worked as a substitute teacher for K-12 where i would follow study plans & have the children follow set schedules their teacher would leave for me while incorporating my own fun games & activities based on the class behavior. I have babysat before for a neighbor for some time, & the child i cared for was 11 months old, we would take strolls around the park & enjoy nature & outside time.Anytime ive spent with any kid ive worked with has been very special as i feel each & every one of them are so unique in their own ways & are just so eager to be great & I cherish that very much. A little bit about myself , I was born in the big apple but now I am located in plant city. I am enrolled in Hillsborough Community College pursuing business administration, and international/ opticianry, I would love to either start my own optometry practice or my own daycare. I currently keep myself busy with some of my favorite things to do like playing tennis, baking, listening to music or podcasts, spending time with my family & friends, & traveling. I am Dominican & Puerto Rican but my Spanish is a little funny I'm still working on that. I am striving to be the first college graduate in my family & to be successful so i can repay all my loved ones
