About Brittany

I started baby sitting after high school to earn a little bit of money for college and to help out some family friends. I baby sat two three year olds at the time from early morning to early afternoon. Over the years, I have been searching for something I am passionate about, and found myself working at a learning center for children ages 6weeks-5years. I absolutely fell in love with the role. I worked at that center for about a year and a half. While working there, I received my cpr and first aid certification, state level training on caring for children, experience with a variety of ages (siblings are no problem!), knowledge from "The Creative Curriculum" for each age, and worked to comply with NAEYC requirements. I am very creative and crafty! I love to come up with developmentally appropriate activities to do with the children. I am a mother to three little girls myself and understand the apprehension that can come with hiring a new caretaker; I aim to make each family feel comfortable and confident in my ability to care for their children.
