About Amber

I have experience working with children through both education and healthcare. Before nursing school, I worked as a substitute teacher for Dallas ISD for about three years, where I cared for students of all ages and enjoyed creating a fun, supportive, and welcoming environment for them. I love learning and have earned my Associate of Science degree. I'm currently finishing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and will be graduating in about six months. During nursing school, I've completed both my pediatric and maternal clinical rotations, where I've cared for infants, children, and new moms. I also work part-time as a Patient Care Technician at Baylor Scott & White Health, where I've developed strong communication skills and learned to stay calm, attentive, and compassionate in a fast-paced environment. I'm CPR and BLS certified and love working with kids. I enjoy cooking, staying active, and finding fun ways to keep children engaged. Whether we're playing outside, doing crafts, helping with homework, or making a fun snack together, I strive to create a positive, caring, and engaging atmosphere where children feel comfortable and supported. After graduation, I hope to become a Pediatric ICU nurse because caring for children is something I'm truly passionate about. I'm looking for a part time babysitting position while I finish nursing school, and I'd love the opportunity to care for your little ones!
