Hi! My name is Alexis, and I am a 22-year-old childcare professional with over a year of experience working with children in grades TK through 5th as an after-school teacher. I am patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with the children and families I work with. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, learning, and growing. Working with children has inspired me to pursue a career as a school counselor in the future. Because of this, I place a strong emphasis on kindness, authenticity, and being a positive role model. I understand the importance of trust when caring for children, and I always strive to put my best foot forward, communicate openly, and provide attentive, compassionate care. Whether helping with homework, organizing activities, or simply being a reliable presence, I am dedicated to making every child feel valued, supported, and cared for.
