I am a rising junior at American University in Washington DC, originally from Buffalo NY, studying political science and journalism. This summer I am looking for meaningful work with kids where I can genuinely show up, contribute, and make the season memorable for everyone involved. I am open to a live-in position, which I think works beautifully for the right family. It creates consistency for the kids, flexibility for the parents, and lets me pour real energy into the role rather than splitting focus. I have full availability and am ready to hit the ground running. As a person I am easy going, organized, and hard working, but also just genuinely fun to be around. I love music, singing, dancing, art, theatre, and getting outside. I will absolutely challenge your kids to a dance competition, take them to a game, do an art project, put on a little show, or just spend a slow afternoon exploring. I meet kids where they are and I find joy in all of it. Families matter a lot to me. I do not show up just to fill hours. I show up because I care about the people I work with and I want to be someone the kids actually look forward to seeing. If you are looking for someone warm, creative, dependable, and excited to be part of your summer, that is exactly what I am here for. One thing to note: I do not have a car, so proximity to public transportation or a walkable area is helpful when considering fit.
