About Sumarha

Hi everyone! My name is Sumarha, I’m an Astoria native and rising senior at Yale University studying Ethnic Studies, Sociology, and Education. I have a deep passion for teaching, stemming from being a direct product of NYC public schools! I have plenty of experience working with children, from teaching to babysitting the kids of my own professors. I have babysat since being in the eighth grade and have also tutored math, reading, history, and science. My hobbies include graphic design, fashion illustration, writing, and playing with my two pet bunnies! I am responsible, punctual, academically inclined, and trustworthy. It is of absolute importance to trust your children with someone you feel comfortable and safe with. I hope with my experience, you can feel comfortable as well. I have experience babysitting children mainly from 2 to 15 years old. This experience has developed over the course of 6 years. I am more than happy to help with household chores, errands, playtime, homework, summer tutoring and more. My objective is to make sure the parents and kids are receiving the best possible care. I speak both Spanish & English fluently.
