About Devin

I have been caring for children since I was a teenager, starting with babysitting for neighbors, younger cousins, and family friends. As an adult, I have continued caring for friends’ children and have gained extensive hands-on family experience as a stepparent. I currently have four stepchildren, which has given me experience with the day-to-day responsibilities, routines, personalities, and needs that come with caring for children of different ages. I am dependable, patient, attentive, and safety-conscious. I currently hold CPR and First Aid certification, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are in responsible hands. I also have approximately five years of experience providing care and assistance to elderly adults. That experience has strengthened my compassion, patience, communication skills, and ability to remain calm and attentive in different situations. I genuinely enjoy caring for others and would provide a safe, supportive, and positive environment for every child in my care.
