About Nya

My background working with children combines hands-on experience with continued education in early childhood development and postpartum care. As a CAPPA-certified postpartum doula, I have supported families through the newborn stage with a focus on infant feeding, sleep support, and maternal recovery, providing attentive, knowledgeable care during the fourth trimester. Beyond newborn care, I have experience working with toddlers and young children, guiding their development through play-based learning, emotional regulation, and consistent, developmentally appropriate structure. I am committed to fostering independence, confidence, and secure attachments in the children I care for. I am CPR certified and have completed a range of specialized workshops and trainings in areas such as trauma-informed care, child development, and family dynamics. These have strengthened my ability to provide thoughtful, responsive care while maintaining a calm, grounded presence in a variety of environments. In addition to childcare, I bring strong organizational and household management skills, allowing me to support a well-run, harmonious home. I am detail-oriented, proactive, and deeply committed to providing high-quality, intuitive support tailored to each family’s needs.
