About Gaviana

Hi my name is Gaviana R. I am currently a behavioral technician and have years of experience with children in home settings doing babysitting, as well as at a school setting. I have the most experience with special needs children and children who have aggressive behaviors. I have worked long term at two different schools as an aid to a boy with autism at one school and an aid to a girl with autism at another. I have the most experience working with children in the elementary school years and have had such a positive experience working with kids overall. I absolutely love working with kids and find such a joy in working with special needs children and making others feel understood. I am 20 years old and will be 21 next month, with this being said I am incredibly grateful to have found my passion so soon in life. I would love to be working with children as my lifelong career. Eventually I would love to become a teacher and do plan on starting the schooling that I need to peruse that. Along with the experience I have as a personal aid at schools I also have tons of experience babysitting children. I find it easy for me to get along with children and find things to do to pass time in a fun way. Right now I am working as a personal behavioral aid to a 9 year old girl with autism this is my second school year with her and we have built a very strong relationship over this time. she has showed so much progress working with me, when I first started she was considered highly aggressive and hard to work with. Fast forward to now she shows no aggressive behaviors towards myself and other peers/ teachers around her. I am looking for something part time due to my current client having to be picked up from school early multiple days a week for personal reasons. I would like to find something to fill my free time and earn more experience working with children
