About Ace

Hey! My name is Ace, and I am a Sophomore at UCSC studying psychology. I grew up in a Southern California beach town, where I spent my time swimming, participating in the Junior Lifeguard program, and playing water polo. I spent the past three summers as a certified lifeguard, and I enjoy hiking, spending time outdoors, and art. My experience with kids ranges from giving swim lessons to babysitting for neighborhood families. I also had the opportunity to spend time in Bali and Ecuador, where I assisted in teaching English in local schools as part of a volunteer service organization called Global Leadership Adventures. As the oldest of three brothers, I have a lifetime of experience with high-energy kids! I am seeking part-time work that allows me to remain committed to my studies while also providing opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and have some fun. I consider myself responsible, reliable, and patient. I enjoy helping kids find their self-confidence.
