About Gemma

Hi! I’ve always loved being around kids and watching them learn, grow, and become their own little people. I have 5 years of childcare experience, a degree in Child Development, and a master’s degree in Child Life. My education has taught me a lot about child development, but my favorite part of working with children is getting to know who they are as individuals. I love doing crafts, baking, reading, and getting outside, and I’m always happy to join in on whatever a child is interested in. I think some of the best moments are the simple ones such as making cookies together, getting a little messy with a craft, reading the same favorite book for the hundredth time, or turning an ordinary afternoon into something fun. Outside of childcare, I love traveling and exploring new places, reading, baking, and doing crafts. I’m naturally curious and love trying new things, and I enjoy bringing that creativity and sense of adventure into my time with kids. Most importantly, I want the children I care for to feel comfortable, safe, and valued. I know how much trust it takes to welcome someone into your family, and I’d love the chance to get to know your family and be someone you can truly count on. 💛
