Hello! I’m Anissa Carr, and I’m 22 years old based in the Stockton, California area. I currently work in the school district, which has given me valuable experience working with students of all ages. I'm also a college student pursuing a Health Science degree, with plans to become an ultrasound technician in the future. Caring for children is something I truly enjoy. I’ve always had a natural connection with kids and have been babysitting for family and friends for years. I have experience with all age groups—from toddlers to teens—and I always bring a fun and outgoing personality to everything I do. I’m reliable, respectful, and highly adaptable. Whether it’s keeping a consistent routine, helping with homework, or engaging in fun activities, I’m happy to support each child’s needs. Following instructions is one of my strongest skills, and I take pride in making sure parents feel confident and at ease when I’m with their little ones. With a well-rounded background in childcare and school district support, I bring a diverse set of skills and dependable experience to any sitter role. My professional background includes working as a classified substitute for the school district, where I supported various departments such as food service, campus security, noon duty, the front office, and classroom assistance. This role allowed me to interact with children of all ages, from preschool to high school, while maintaining a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. In addition to my work within the school system, I used to be an active volunteer at my local church, helping with Vacation Bible School programs for several years. As Well as being a cabin leader for science camp back in high school. This experience helped me develop strong communication skills and creative approaches to keeping children engaged in group settings. I hold a CPR certification through the school district, so safety is always a top priority.
My rate is $18 per hour, and I’m open to watching more than one child—with an additional $1 per hour for each extra child.
