In college I studied “Early Childhood Education”(ECE) as elective classes while getting my Mathematics major/Computer Science minor with emphasis on Data Science. I nannied and worked in various play gym settings while getting my education. Attended and graduated EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) school, but I’m no longer registered since 2019. Have worked with multiples and infants, can also tutor older ages. Ran my own caregiving service in Bay Area for 5+ years, including advanced tutoring for AP classes. Can do elimination communication, sign language, and of course I know the ABCs of Safe Sleep. As I’ve started my own family, I took some time off of my career in tech. I have still continued tutoring and nannying as it’s been a great way to stay regimented and connected to the community. My style with younglings has always been focused on development through involvement in the world. Going to the library, museums, spending days out at the park. Interaction with community and art, exposure to music and language. I speak 3 languages with young children; English, Spanish, and Basic ASL. When they are little it’s the best time to immerse them.
