About Jaylah

Hi there! I’m Jaylah, a 19-year-old college student at Chico State University Pursuing a degree in Agricultural business. Before that, I studied Education at UC San Diego, which gave me a great foundation for understanding kids and how they learn best. I have been babysitting since I was 13, and offer 3 years of experience as a nanny, including a year as an on-call respite nanny. In this role, I cared for a wide variety of different children with unique individual needs. I like to live by the motto “leave it better than I found it,” and that’s the heart of how I approach childcare. Whether I am helping with homework, playing outside, or calming a fussy toddler, my goal is always to make each day a little brighter and a little easier for the kids and parents I work with. Families I have worked with describe me as dependable, bubbly, fun, and patient. I make it my mission to always bring positive energy into the home. I love creating a safe space where kids can be themselves, learn new things, and feel supported every step of the way.
