About Bailey

Hi! My name is Bailey and I am a sophomore at Cal Poly. Cal Poly was my top choice school and it still feels like a dream to get to wake up here each day. I continue to discover new amazing things about the SLO community and my love grows more and more for this beautiful city I get to call home. My hometown is Ventura/Ojai and I feel extra fortunate to be close to my family while away at college! I have experience working in a Montessori childcare with toddler and preschool aged children, as well as a summer camp with elementary school children. I love the opportunity to be creative- whether we are making art, inventing imaginative games inside, exploring backyards or parks and everything in between! There is nothing better than a child’s imagination being able to run free in my opinion. In my free time I am usually reading, hiking, doing yoga/pilates, or anything that lets me be outdoors. I love all animals (especially dogs!) but truly all animals- big and small. I am looking forward to connecting with a few families either for consistent childcare needs or on an as needed basis. I love being a part of child’s world to celebrate their victories and share their curiosities is truly a gift 💗
