Hi there! I’m Tanan — a recent UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Psychology and over 9 years of experience working with children from ages 2 to 15. Babysitting has been a part of my life since I was young, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take pride in. Currently, I assist my nanny friend by helping care for three young boys — we cook meals together, go on walks, read books, play games, and follow nap routines. I also regularly care for a sibling pair (ages 2 and 4) in the mornings and evenings once or twice a week. With them, I love leading fun activities like swimming, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. I’m confident managing multiple children at once and bring a calm, warm energy into every space. In addition to childcare, I have years of experience dog sitting and house sitting, which I’ve done regularly since high school. I’m very comfortable around animals — especially dogs — and understand how to maintain a clean, organized, and safe home environment. Families trust me to be responsible, respectful, and reliable while they’re away. Professionally, I’m a manager at Basecamp Fitness, where I oversee daily operations, multitask under pressure, and lead team communication — all of which have sharpened my time management and problem-solving skills. I also work as a production assistant, which has taught me how to stay organized, flexible, and detail-oriented — qualities I bring to every childcare setting. I have experience preparing meals for children with dietary restrictions and always aim to foster a safe, loving, and imaginative environment.
