Hey y’all!! My name is Mary L Pike, but most of the kids I babysit call me ML! I grew up in Homewood and am so excited to be a freshman at Auburn this fall. Growing up in a neighborhood full of littles, I started babysitting in 2020 and quickly realized how much I genuinely love spending time with kids. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to be a date-night babysitter, a school-year nanny, a summer nanny, and an after-school daycare teacher, so I’m comfortable caring for children of all ages. I am CPR and First Aid certified after working as a lifeguard for the past three years, and I always strive to provide a safe, fun, and dependable environment for every family. My Christian faith is a huge part of who I am and shapes the way I care for others, and if it’s something your family values, I also love coming alongside parents in raising children to know and love Jesus I also have experience working with children and young adults with disabilities through both babysitting and volunteer organizations. Creating an environment where every child feels safe, included, encouraged, and celebrated is something I’m truly passionate about, and I’m always happy to learn each child’s unique needs and routines. If parents are interested, I also love planning engaging, screen-free activities like crafts, outdoor games, baking, reading books, scavenger hunts, and imaginative play.
