Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I am a 22 year old recent graduate from Eckerd College living in St.Pete. I’ve been babysitting since I was 13 and absolutely love working with kids! With nearly a decade of experience, I’ve taken care of mainly school-aged children, and I always strive to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment. I have my own vehicle and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, with a minor in Psychology. I also have 45 credentialed hours with DCF and my CPR certification. I've worked with children in daycares, karate classes, Montessori schools and home settings for the last 15 years. Recently, I've worked as a nanny and as a teacher at a Montessori-styled preschool. I am comfortable with some housekeeping, petcare and preparing meals. I've worked with immunocompromised families in the past and am comfortable adhering to wearing an N95 mask and maintaining strict protocol with hygiene. I'm also familiar with following a homeschooling curriculum as well as creating engaging and fun activities. I speak Spanish, know American Sign Language and love teaching the whole family new ways to communicate!
