Hi! My name is Mia, and I am a caring, responsible, and dependable individual with a passion for working with children! I graduated from the University of Scranton with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I have several years of experience working with children of various ages, abilities, and developmental needs. For the past three years, I have worked at an Early Learning Center, and I also spent five years working at The Arc’s summer camp. Additionally, I have babysitting experience with family members. Through these opportunities, along with my clinical experiences as a graduate student, I have developed strong skills in communication, patience, creativity, and supporting children’s individual needs. I enjoy creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and engaged. Whether it’s helping with homework, planning activities, playing games, or simply providing attentive care, I strive to make each child’s experience positive and enjoyable.
