About Jayla

Hi! My name is Jayla, and I am currently a Music Education major with a minor in Special Education at William Paterson University. I have always loved working with children and creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment for them to learn and grow. As the oldest of four siblings, I have years of hands-on experience caring for younger children. In addition, I have worked in aftercare programs, where I supervised and engaged children in activities, homework help, and daily routines. I have also completed student teaching in elementary schools, giving me experience working with children in a classroom setting and supporting their educational development. I am responsible, patient, and energetic, and I enjoy incorporating creativity, music, and positive encouragement into my interactions with children.
