About Lyric

Hello! My name is Lyric, and I am a dedicated childcare professional with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, loving, and engaging environment. I have several years of experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children up to age five. Currently, I work as a Lead Teacher at a preschool in Chicago, where I plan age-appropriate activities, support children’s social-emotional development, encourage positive behavior, and create meaningful learning experiences every day. I am currently pursuing my degree in Early Childhood Education and am committed to continuing my education so I can provide the highest quality care and support to children and families. My long-term goal is to become an elementary school teacher and eventually open my own daycare, which reflects my deep dedication to early childhood development. Families describe me as patient, dependable, nurturing, and energetic. I believe every child deserves to feel loved, respected, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Whether we’re reading stories, creating arts and crafts, exploring outdoors, working on developmental milestones, or simply sharing laughs throughout the day, I strive to make each child feel valued and supported.
