Energetic Babysitter Needed for After-School Fun in New York area

Job Description

We are the Roberts family, and we’re looking for a lively and engaging sitter to look after our two spirited children, Ella and Max, aged 5 and 8. Our busy New York family needs someone who can make after-school hours a time of fun and creativity. You'll start with picking them up from school, and then it's off to exciting activities, whether that's crafting masterworks or playing imaginative games at the park. We hope to find a unique individual who can dance to Ella’s wild tunes, while also devising intriguing puzzles that Max adores. Our car-free Manhattan living requires all travel to be done on foot or via public transportation. Join us for an adventure-filled evenings full of laughter!

Responsibilities
• Pick up kids from school and accompany them home or to extracurricular activities
• Organize engaging playtime and craft activities
• Help with light homework and reading assignments
• Prepare simple snacks and supervise mealtime
• Ensure safety and a nurturing environment

Qualifications
• Prior experience with ages 5 and 8 preferred
• Creative mindset with a love for arts and games
• Patience and enthusiasm a must
• Comfortable with using public transportation
• First Aid/CPR certification a plus
