About Abby

Hi! My name is Abby, and I am a 19-year-old college student with an extensive background in childcare. I have always enjoyed working with children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can learn and grow. I have been babysitting since I was 13 years old and have experience caring for children of various ages. I worked as an Assistant Teacher in both an infant classroom and a toddler classroom (12–24 months), where I supported daily routines, developmental activities, and classroom management. I also floated throughout the preschool, working with children up to 5 years old. In addition, I volunteered as a cheer coach for children ages 5–10, helping teach skills, teamwork, and confidence. I volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, which supports families with children receiving medical treatment, and I assisted children at my local library with completing the summer reading program. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in childcare, communication, patience, and creating positive experiences for children. I am a responsible, dependable, and enthusiastic caregiver who enjoys building meaningful connections with children and supporting families.
